It is possible to know who requested a show?

Is there a way to me as admin to see which discord user requested a show? I know the app stores this info to notify the user, but i think this should be visible somewhere.

Hello,

At the current time no.
Requestrr sends the info to sonarr, or radarr and does not record who requested what, however, you can use overseerr or ombi instead to track this information.
Requestrr does have the notification file, you would have to manually look at it to find out who requested something, however it would only be things that haven't been found, and you would have to search for the media's id and discord user id to figure out the info.

Something for me to look into is to introduce tags maybe to help track or another method.

Hey @SrDu001,
If you're using Overseerr, you can import your Plex users into your instance. Once imported, you can link each user's Discord ID in their Overseerr profile. After that, any requests they make via the Requestrr Discord bot will be properly attributed to their Plex account, rather than just showing as made by "Discord bot.", hope this helps.

@SrDu001 What you can do is uncheck these settings and the requests will stay in the specific channel you set your bot up to take requests from

@fizzyhd That is an option, the downside is that everyone else would know who requested what, i'd prefer the requests to keep private among the other users, also, I like to keep the requests channel clean. 😁

A very manual way, if the user requested notifications, is to find the tvdb or TMDB ID of the requested item, then search the notifications.json file for it to get the discord userid, then plug that into https://discord.id/
