Tiago Jorge

Cloud & Serverless Architect focused on designing scalable, event-driven and cloud-native systems on AWS.

For the past 15+ years I’ve been building and evolving software platforms, with the last 8 years dedicated exclusively to the AWS ecosystem — designing architectures that connect data, APIs and compute in a resilient and cost-efficient way.

I’m particularly interested in how systems behave under real-world pressure — not only how they look on diagrams.

My work is centered around distributed systems running in production:
latency behavior, failure modes, scalability limits and long-term maintainability.

Architecture focus

  • Serverless architectures on AWS
  • Distributed & event-driven systems
  • Cloud-native platform design
  • Architecture decision making and trade-offs
  • Observability, resilience and cost dynamics

I’m particularly interested in how systems behave under real-world pressure — not only how they look on diagrams.

Current interests

  • Advanced serverless patterns and system design
  • Event-driven architectures at scale
  • Multi-account and platform architecture on AWS
  • AI applied to cloud platforms and engineering workflows

Writing, talks & knowledge sharing

I actively share learnings about architecture, serverless and distributed systems through talks, articles and technical discussions.

About this GitHub

This space documents experiments, architectural patterns, real-world lessons and ideas around building modern cloud systems.

Most repositories here are labs, studies or architectural explorations rather than finished products.
