Proposed text strings for MainActivity, "more information" page and splash screen
This page contains proposed text for our app:
- for the main activity,
- for the page with "more information" about installation from unknown sources, and
- for the splash screen.
Texts are available in English and German.

Your phone and personal data are more vulnerable to attack by apps from unknown sources: Allowing installation from unknown sources increases the risk for certain attacks like drive-by downloads - where software is installed when a user merely visits a web site. In order to reduce the attack surface of your device, you should disable installation from unknown sources.
Android prevents apps from changing this setting without your knowledge. This however implies that you as a user have to manually edit this setting in the settings of your phone. The button "Change" will bring you directly to the settings page. Depending on your device, you only have to scroll down a bit.

Allowing installation from unknown sources puts your device at risk. However, sometimes it may be neccesary to temporarily allow this. This app shows you whether installation from unknown sources is currently allowed, lets you directly jump to the respective settings screen, and it offers to remind you to switch back off installation from unknown sources after a certain elapsed time.

Apps mit unbekannter Herkunft können gefährlich für Ihr Telefon und ihre personenbezogenen Daten sein: Wenn die Installation aus unbekannten Quellen erlaubt ist, erhöht dies das Risiko für gewisse Angriffe wie zum Beispiel Drive-by-Downloads - dabei wird beim bloßen Besuchen einer Webseite mit dem Browser Software auf Ihrem Gerät installiert.
