Is there any JSON API available?

CarConnectivity is a great tool and extensible by plugins.
Currently I only use it from time to tim via WebUI - but is there any usable API already implemented?

I don't fully understand the plugin concept and maybe it could/should be included to WebUI...
A simple /api/get/garage for example would enable other systems to directly request information from CarConnectivity without i.e. an MQTT broker.

And maybe also write access (does CarConnectitivy provide this?), for example /api/set//doors/lock_state or better JSON oriented a POST request to /api/set/ with data "{ doors: { lock_state: true } }".

If it is already available, please point me to the right direction.
If not: should it be included into WebUI or do we have a small example/tutorial "How to write a Plugin for CarConnectivity"?

Hi Sven,
no there is no REST API currently available but it is probably a nice Idea to have one. I think both approaches are viable, a new plugin or using the infrastructure already available with the WebUI plugin. I tend to like the new plugin a little more as it does not force the WebUI users to also have the REST API and vice versa.
The implementation should be quite straightforward, at least for a GET/POST based variant. I don't know if there is a good standard to also have push notifications on changes (like having events).
Unfortunately there is also no tutorial on how to write a plugin yet.
