Some markdown actions need buttons

The / way of inserting markdown is great and is very easy to use. However, if you have a number of plain text lines and you want to convert them into a list - how do you do that?

Or if you have a long list of checkboxes and you want to reset them all to unchecked? I would assume you select all the rows you want to reset and press the checklist button twice (first time to remove the checkboxes and the second time to add them all back but unchecked.

Just found the option to change the visibility of individual toolbar items. They are all selected but I can only see 10 items in the toolbar. How do I make all the others visible?

Perfect, works as expected in the latest version. I use a lot of long lists (gear lists for travelling). For each tour I remove the ticks and then pack and tick what's in the boxes.

Have you seen the tasklist note type?

I have, but at the moment I fail to see the advantages of using this type of list compared to a normal tick list. I have attached a screenshot to demonstrate how I use the checkbox list. It's divided into sections.

I feel that Tasklist is missing some features to make it really useful. For example some additional markers. Important, Later, Review, Refer - these are just examples, I haven't really thought about it. Also an option for done tasks not to move to the bottom.

But having said all this - this is Task list and not a Check list - two different uses :-)
