Pasting HTML in Markdown notes

This request has been on my mind for a long time. As mentioned a while ago I like using Markdown for most of my notes. It's just so more flexible and easier to edit (from a user perspective) than HTML. I often copy a snippet from a website and want to paste it directly into an existing Markdown note. What about an option in the 3dot menu (inside the Markdown note) 'Paste as Markdown...' . The conversion would happen on the fly. The point is obviously to keep the formatting as much as possible. Is that reasonable?

I’ll see what I can do. In the meantime, please note that Poznote can convert an entire note from Markdown to HTML and vice versa.

I use this regularly, for example, to take an AI-generated result in Markdown, put it into a Markdown note, convert it to HTML, and then copy and paste the result into an HTML note.
