Since we have shared workspaces now, it would be useful to have catch-up emails on a daily/weekly/instant basis, for changes made to a shared workspace.

Instead of an email this could also be shown as a popup on the next login by other members of the team, but that might be a bit intrusive.

Thanks for the idea, it fits well with shared workspaces. I went with the email side: there is now a "Shared workspace emails" option in Settings > Workspaces, set per user and off by default, with three choices: As changes happen, Daily summary and Weekly summary. When it is on, you receive an email listing the notes other people created, edited or deleted in the workspaces you share or that are shared with you, with who did it and when, and a link that opens each note directly in the right workspace. It never includes the content of a note, and you are never notified about your own changes. "As changes happen" waits a few minutes after the last change so you do not get one email per autosave, the daily summary is sent at 8:00 and the weekly one on Monday at 8:00, in your timezone. It needs SMTP to be configured by the administrator and an email address on your profile. I left the popup at login aside for the moment.

All of this could be improved but let's try this first version and see how it goes. 😊
