Thanks for your responsiveness and an AWESOME app 🤘🙌Sent from my iPhoneOn Oct 21, 2026, at 6:50 PM, Timothé Poznanski ***@***.***> wrote:
Thanks for the question! You can already do this with the Templates feature: put the note you want to reuse (headings, checkboxes, prompts...) in a folder named Templates in your workspace, then in a new diary entry type /template and pick it. Its content is inserted right where your cursor is, so it only takes a second at the start of the entry.
If it is always the same content, the next release adds a "Diary entry template" setting under Settings > Diary so you don't have to insert it yourself every day. Open Settings from your workspace and pick the note from that same Templates folder: every new diary entry of that workspace then starts with its content, whether you create it from the Diary page, the calendar or a diary link. Each workspace has its own template, and it works with both rich text and Markdown entries (the template is converted if its format differs from the one set in "Diary entry format").

Is there a way to edit the daily note template to add elements such as checkboxes that will automatically be on each new daily note that is created?
