Installation

  1. Open the DMG and drag Elbowroom to Applications, or unzip the ZIP and move the app there.
  2. Open Elbowroom from Applications.

Requires macOS 14.0 or later. Supports Apple Silicon and Intel.
All features are free, with no usage limits or paid upgrades.

First release. Elbowroom explains every gigabyte on a small-disk Mac, reclaims what regenerates, and offloads the rest to an external drive.

Highlights:

  • Read-only bulk-attribute scan with FSEvents deltas; purgeable space and snapshots measured and labeled, denied paths disclosed.
  • Atlas packs for Xcode, JavaScript, Rust, Homebrew, Docker/OrbStack, system residue, and ML weights; lenses name the long tail.
