Maryland Maps

Visualize the Maryland Maps from UMD Libraries.

Instructions:

Installation

Install Python3.7, (assuming your default interpreter is 3.7) run:

pip install -r requirements.txt

Run

python server.py

Functionality:

search keywords: you can put keywords to the search bar and click on search button.

select location of maps: click on "Location" dropdown list and you can choose multiple locations

select year range of maps: click on "Year" and select the year range.

select types of maps: click on "Type of Map" and then select types in the dropdown list.

show details of a specific map: click on one map on the right side of the dashboard, you can see a popup window with details of the map.
