Kerbol Outer System

Overview

Lying just past the green Jool, are 2 unique ice giants, both not being like anything in the real world solar system. These ice giants being, Taalex and Nethoon. Taalex has 2 moons, Kepaz and Kelia, and Nethoon has a 3 moons, Eybon, Spyn and Loost.

Planets

Taalex

Taalex, the vibrant blue ice giant, lies just past Jool. Taalex contains mostly hydrogen. There are 2
icy moons to conquer, such as the metal-rich Kelia and the nitrogen ice-rich Kepaz.

Nethoon

Nethoon the last body in the Kerbol system Nethoon is an extremely eccentric orbiting ice giant
with 3 moons the last step for Kerbalkind to conquer before the void of interstellar space. Although
it is named after the creator of the kraken from Kerbal mythology. Surely it isn't actually it right?

Moons

Kepaz

Kepaz is composed of nitrogen ice and could serve as a suitable outpost. A notable feature is a
dark crater called Artem, with a higher concentration of iron and other minerals.

Kelia

Kelia is composed of water ice, and the darker areas are richer in iron. There are many craters, with
icy marks jutting out, likely revealing new, fresh ice.

Eybon

The first moon of Nethoon Eybon is a liquid hydrocarbon moon with a permanent storm over its
largest sea. this gives it the appearance of an eye. one watching the the system.

Spyn

The second moon of Nethoon Spyn is a distorted moon shaped like an egg given it's large size
orbiting it is difficult you are very likely to crash your ship into the moon if you fly too close to
the surface so. Be wary.

Loost

The most distant moon of Nethoon. Loost is simply just a lonely world far away from the rest of
the system. A great place to refuel on interstellar missions and honestly not much else.

Dwarf Planets

Plos

Plos is a small, tholin-covered Eeloo. Plos has beautiful icy plains and nice red valleys. The rings of
Plos are made of ice and rock, along with a thin nitrogen haze. Plos is much smaller than Eeloo, with
a radius of around 100km. There are large hills and mountains, likely due to the weak icy structure
that Plos is made of.
