This release is all about making Biscuit faster, more capable, and much more comfortable to use every day. Search has been completely redesigned, the editor gained split views and Vim support, settings are now fully editable through a dedicated interface, and AI workflows have become more transparent with new agent tools.

⚡ Faster syntax highlighting, Vim Mode, Splittable Editor Tabs

• editor now uses a new Tree-sitter highlighting engine, providing faster and more responsive syntax highlighting across large projects.
• tabs can now be split into multiple panes, making it easier to work with several files side-by-side.
• Vim users can now navigate and edit using familiar keybindings with the introduction of Vim Mode.

🔎 A brand new Search Editor

Search has been rebuilt from the ground up and is now powered by Ripgrep, bringing significantly faster project-wide search with a dedicated search editor experience.

• Small Project (15 MB): ~8 milliseconds
• Large Monorepo (Node.js): ~42 milliseconds
• Single File Search (Large text): ~150 to 250 milliseconds

Configure Biscuit through a dedicated settings editor/TOML configuration file, making settings easy to edit both inside and outside the IDE.
