Live Telemetry Overlay
This is the page that sits on the stream. It shows what the plane is doing right now, pulled live off the radio and updated a few times a second. It's only live while I'm actually flying and streaming 🔴 — when the stream's off, there's no data feeding it, so it just sits idle.
- 🚀 Speed & altitude — big and readable from across the room.
- 🛩️ Artificial horizon (ADI) — roll and pitch, so you can read the attitude even when the video feed is a mess.
- 🔋 Battery — pack voltage, plus current draw if the sensor's there.
- 🛰️ GPS — sat count and fix status.
- 📶 Link — RSSI / link quality, so a brownout is obvious afterwards.
The numbers change colour when things get spicy 🌶️ — low battery, weak link — so you don't have to stare at them to know something's off.
The overlay keeps a running set of all-time records — top speed, max altitude, longest distance from home — plus the stats from the last flight. Just the numbers: how fast, how high, how far. 🏁
A flight is counted once there's a GPS fix and the plane's actually moving (over ~5 km/h), and it closes out when the signal's been gone for a while. So taxiing around on the bench doesn't rack up fake records. 😅
Down at the bottom of the site there's a photo gallery — a slideshow of FPV shots that rotates on its own every few seconds. 🖼️

The pictures load themselves straight from the images/ folder of the site's repo, so adding new ones is just dropping files in there — no editing the page. 📂
