m_PixelBuf[offset]=dv[rsum];

btw, is not iOS6 problem. its problem with some kind images. Please test it with that image

Ok, thats a different issue. The algorithm is expecting a certain kind of image format, and you're is different .

I've added an automatic check for this, and tested with your picture, should be fine. You can also use the "normalize" function once to convert the image (see updated README)

@tomsoft1 I have a crash on line 41 UInt8 * m_PixelBuf=malloc(CFDataGetLength(m_DataRef)); if self.size is equal to CGSizeZero, I think the method should check for that to prevent this error.

if (CGSizeEqualToSize(self.size, CGSizeZero)) {
    return self;
}
