Accented characters not accepted in Brazilian Portuguese

Accented characters typed in Brazilian Portuguese are no longer accepted. The ç (cedilla) key works, and pasting text from other sources also works. However, no other typed accents are accepted, including the grave accent, which in Markdown is used for monospace code formatting.

The issue occurs in the Flatpak and AppImage editions of version 26.01. Reverting to version 25.02 works around the problem in both Flatpak and AppImage.

I'll take a look, I don't recall any change that would have broken that, but perhaps it's related to the update to the Gnome 50 runtime.
