NOTE: do not review this PR until the dependent PR is merged: #95

This PR does several things:

  • Straight-copy past of legacy /src from the mfe-customer-work repo.
  • adds/modifies of global files that the legacy requires to properly build
  • deletes obsolete /src-ts test files

This branch will not build, but I wanted to isolate these changes so we could see later changes.
