Gun Runner is a sidescroller shooter where the player is able to jump over objects and shoot at enemies to clear their path. The player's character is static while the world moves towards them, having the player dodge incoming obstacles by jumping over indestructible trees and shooting defrayable enemies flying above.
Games have a lot of objects, which do a lot of things, but sometimes these objects do some very similar things as well. This creates a great opportunity to practice object-oriented programming, an important programming paradigm that influences the application architecture and provides performance optimizations.
