App either crashes or freezes on first keystroke when entering password

Only workaround that works for me is to paste in the password

Well, have you tried rebooting your Mac? I'm using OS X 10.11.4/Darwin 15.4.0 too, and never encountered the strange issue described above.

But anyway, it's indeed annoying so I'll check it out and fix it ASAP. Could you upload some more details such as a screen recording GIF or a set of screenshots?
