Changes since v0.1.4

  • Poll interval increased from 2s to 5s, and generation timeout extended from 120s to 200s — avoids the MCP client giving up while the map is still rendering.
  • MAPNETWORK_BASE_URL env var to override the API base URL (for local/dev testing against a self-hosted backend).

MCPB Bundle

Install directly in Claude Desktop via Settings → Extensions → Install Extension, and select mapnetwork-mcp.mcpb.

Tools

  • generate_map — Generate a styled map image for a location and save it to Downloads
  • compute_route — Compute a walking or driving route between two locations
  • redownload_map — Re-download a previously generated map in a different color theme or format
