Birdweather integration problem?

I have a problem with the integration of birdweather. It's not working most of the time... it did work at one point but I can't find the problem when it's not working. I have detections on my raspberry pi with birdnet go, internet connection, birdweather station key... but nothing appears on the birdweather site. couldn't find logs but i got this error on the birdweather site:

Last Detection: @ (Invalid date ago)

a problem with the location? I'm in China. during the install, I setup my real location, same as the birdweather station... any ideas?

I have the same issue in France.

I just switched from BirdNET-Pi and it was working fine with my Birdweather station

But it's not working any more since I integrated BirdNET-Go even if it detects birds.

Btw, did you restart BirdNET-Go after enabling BirdWeather in Web UI? There are still some settings left which require application restart to become active.

I just fixed this, tonights nightly update will reconfigure BirdWeather client at runtime, no need to restart app anymore.

Sorry, I'm a newbie, and when I read your description:

BirdNET-Go is an application inspired by BirdNET-Pi and BirdNET Analyzer. It aims to be a high-performance and easy-to-deploy alternative to both of these.

I thought it was easier to use than BirdNET-Pi... but it's not.
I'll probably switch back to BirdNET-Pi the time for BirdNET-Go to be more stable and more easy to use.

OK, I managed to update by running the command:

I see that my BirdNET-Go station has sent updates today to BirdWeather, so as far as I can see there is no problem in BirdNET-Go when it comes to latest 0.6.2 or nightly version.

Is your BirdWeather tokens configured properly?

I tried 2 different tokens and both failed.
I also use the latest version of BirdNET-Go.
How often updates are supposed to be sent to Birdweather?

Everytime there is a detection, given that confidence exceeds BirdWeather confidence threshold.

No, there is no retry mechanism for BirdWeather uploads for now

Request time out... is it because I'm in China and it's blocked somehow? But my birdnetpi doesn't have any issue uploading...

if you are using docker based install running installer again will ask if you want to update, it will update to latest nightly release

Just make sure to download latest install.sh first.

so i did the test and it kind of worked but it didn't show up as an actual detection on birdweather...

it did update the "last detection" but no species is shown.

well now it shows some barn swallows detections. so it does work sometimes...

When it fails, here's the error message:

403 is a reply from BIrdWeather servers, or could it be some national firewall at your end, I am not sure? In any case I do see submissions from your station at BirdWeather, so BirdNET-Go side client is working now.
