I believe there is no point in receiving notifications for shows that were put on hold because you're not currently watching them anyway.

Same thing applies to shows that I'm not up to date with just yet — I don't need to learn about new episodes while I'm still some episodes behind.

Notifications will be suppressed for shows that are pinned to On Hold. Will be released with next update.

The other suggestions I will consider separately. I feel this is something that might need to be chooseable via Settings.

I feel like the "On Hold" list is bound to become unwieldy as one inevitably stops watching more and more TV shows mid-run.

"Hide" is too severe a feature that is actually the hide feature on trakt.tv, which hides all progress on the show from your history. This is not the desired behaviour when all I want to do is indicate I've stopped watching a show and not have it clutter my Progress page. I still want to see it in my history when I do that.

You can't use "remove from my shows" for this purpose either, as it also has severe side effects related to its meaning on in the trakt.tv database.

I can appreciate that you are trying to piggyback on as many trakt features as possible. Perhaps Showly could create an "Abandoned" list on your trakt account, and refrain from showing those shows on your "Progress" page?
