How exclude entities

Hi everyone,

I have a question, how exclude several entities by SEM?
I have few example lights, fridge etc... stop when I change the status to stop.

I try to find this example of configuration

excluded_devices:

• sensor.lumiere_cuisine_energy
• sensor.lumiere_salon_energy
• sensor.p1s_bambu_lab_energy

Hi @stevaedrum — there's no excluded_devices: YAML option; SEM is configured entirely through the Home Assistant UI, not configuration.yaml. To stop SEM from touching a device (your lights, fridge, etc.), set that device's Mode to Off on the Control tab of the SEM dashboard — in Off mode SEM only monitors and never switches it on or off. You can also flip the per-device Controllable toggle to Off (SEM then ignores it completely), or call the solar_energy_management.update_device_config service with mode: off.

The default mode is Peak Only, which lets a device be shed during grid peaks — that's likely why yours are being stopped. For something like a fridge you can additionally mark it Critical so it's never shed.
