This isn't necessarily a bug as far as it is a translation issue. I speak no German, so if you wanted to update the translation, feel free to clone the repo, update the translation strings, and create a PR! |

Thanks for the quick answer :) I wasn't sure whether this should be considered a bug. Maybe you could convert it into a discussion if that fits better? I will start a PR as soon as I find time 🫡 |

So far, I've tried to translate the entire app into German. It seems the formal "Sie" slipped into the last "PR" by mistake. A few passages could probably be translated even better or adapted to the app. A few errors should also be fixed. Someone else has also created a PR to revise the translation again. That will remain an ongoing task. We can work together to figure out the correct form. |
Uh oh!

App Version

What happened?
The German translation is inconsistent: sometimes the formal form of address Sie is used, and sometimes the informal Du (see also wikipedia on this)
Steps to reproduce
See PR #268 where Sie was added.
Expected behavior
The form of address should be consistent.
How often does this happen?
Every time
Where in the game does this occur?
N/A
Relevant game state
No response
Logs or crash trace
Anything else?
If the tone of the game should be more "high-fantasy-like" or more "mediaeval", one could also use Ihr and Euch, which sounds quite archaic but fits a mediaeval setting quite nicely. But then all strings have to be adjusted.
IMHO a consistent use of either the informal Du or the fancy Ihr and Euch is preferred.
If you want I can start updating the translations accordingly (after you decided which form to use 😁)
