Is there a way to view/export mod packs?

I wanted to find a mod.io pak file, as I wanted to make my own changes but needed to view a mod that does something similar, so I can figure out which game files to modify. However, I've zero idea where to find the pak file. All I know that exists is the cache. Is it currently impossible to view where my mods are installed?
