There's a couple things that bother me about mouse mode that will likely make me prefer disabling the feature.

I don't like the way selecting text automatically opens the Actions menu. It feels jarring and 90% of the time I am double clicking in order to highlight a word in order to copy it. I'd prefer if a selection would only select text, then right clicking would open the action menu. The current right click feature would be removed.

After a selection and when mousing over actions, there should be an effect placed on the word to indicate what the click will do. For example, maybe an underline or background color of Filter-in when the mouse was over that.

Selecting multiple lines doesn't do anything. One option would be to make it highlight the line where the drag was started to the end of the line.

The text underneath a highlighted selection isn't readable in the following themes on my system.
