We are happy to announce that SpawnWP Deploy is now officially available in the WordPress.org Plugin Directory:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/spawnwp-deploy/
This gives the optional SpawnWP companion plugin a single, trusted stable release channel. New releases can now reach WordPress sites through the standard WordPress update system, while new environments created from the SpawnWP cockpit can install the current stable release automatically.
What SpawnWP Deploy does
SpawnWP Deploy can capture an already configured WordPress site — including its content, settings, uploads, plugins and themes — as a reusable blueprint on your own SpawnWP server. You can then create fresh, isolated environments from that blueprint whenever you need them.
From a site created inside a SpawnWP cockpit, the plugin can also perform a guarded, one-time transfer to a separate, fresh WordPress installation.
The plugin remains optional: creating and managing normal SpawnWP environments does not depend on it.
If you already use a preview build
Earlier preview versions were installed from ZIP files distributed outside WordPress.org. To move onto the official update channel:
-dev.You normally do not need to uninstall the old plugin first. The official release uses the same plugin slug, so replacing the files moves the existing installation onto the WordPress.org release channel.

This is an important milestone for SpawnWP. Thank you to everyone who tested the preview builds, reported issues and helped improve the workflow. Feedback and contributions remain very welcome.
