Excess UI Padding

While I applaud all the effort to redo the UI so far, I feel as though the heavy amount of padding of all elements isn't appropriate for a tool an advanced tool like this one. It's almost like a UI made for tablets.

I do see the scale option, but that also shrinks the text.

Could you reduce the amount of padding around everything, or add something like a "Compact" option to do so?

The scale option was added to make the text smaller and display more information at once.
Reducing padding option is also a good idea, as it would increase the information density.

However, it seems that many changes would be required, so implementation might take some time.
For now, I’d like to prioritize fixing major bugs and functional issues, and treat this as a topic for future consideration.
