Measure distance / ruler tool

Hello,

it will be nice and very convenient to add a ruler tool to GPXSee.
Click on ruler tool.
Click on a first point
Move mouse to a second point
Display distance and bearing in toolbar

PS : should a line between the 2 points be drawn... or a curve? should it use orthodromic or loxodromic distance?

Seconded, a ruler would be extremely useful, I often want to measure distances along my tracks. Even Google Maps has this feature.
