  • verify SRI hashes
  • npm i@version or tag in README.md and docs
  • Decide if we are going to use a subdomain for v5.0.0-alpha1; if we do, make sure we ask upstream in docsearch in case we need to change something
  • Review all the changes
  • when publishing to npm make sure we pass the --tag next flag
  • Revisit browserslist
  • Make sure the migration page is updated with supported browsers etc

Bump version to 5.0.0-alpha1

Also add v4.5.0 in versions and keep README.md pointing to v4.5.0 so that there are no broken stuff.
