Custom images/avatars for People records and custom objects

Question first: Is there already a way to assign custom images or avatars to People records or custom objects that I might be missing?

Context:
The automatic favicon fetching for Company records works brilliantly. It makes records instantly recognizable in table views and relation chips.

What I'd love to see:

Ability to upload or assign a custom avatar to People records
An image field type for custom objects (e.g. podcast cover artwork, product images)
Ideally rendered as a thumbnail in table views and relation chips, consistent with Company favicons

This would make the CRM significantly more visual and intuitive, especially for use cases beyond traditional sales CRM.
