But how to build website to offline view?

Well, you can refer to https://github.com/typst-community/extra-docs/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md, but it depends on mixed toolchains, so it is not very easy to get it running.

Do you want to build the website or only want offline view?
If the latter, perhaps I can extend https://github.com/typst-community/extra-docs/blob/main/.github/workflows/deploy.yaml and publish *.html in GitHub Releases. Opening *.html does not require those toolchains.

The mdbook, just, uv are pretty popular rust tools and not that complex to use.
However, perhaps the contribute.md miss a note to run commands within the git repo folder.

cd extra-docs/
just serve ...

Now I could read docs.zim in firefox browser or kiwix.apk!
So, to release html is redundant.

If that's all you want, visit https://typst-community.github.io/extra-docs/zim/index.html and download a file, then it's all over. You don't even have to clone this repo.

This is a doc repo, so it would be better
to know how to view doc in readme.md.
i.e.

This is an ... for Typst:
- supplement doc ... To view, see `contribute.md`.
- snapshot doc ... To view, via kiwix or its firefox add-on.
