Default filtering mode

The default filtering mode of uBOL is meant to be optimal:

When the filtering mode is optimal, it is possible that some ad placeholders are left behind on a given site. If this happens and you want to get rid of the placeholders, set the filtering mode to complete for that site:

When the default mode is basic, uBOL will still filter network requests, but will not apply cosmetic- or scriptlet-based filters.

This happens if you do not give uBOL the permissions to "read and change" data on all websites by default:
