screen brightness control

Recently I have switched from openSUSE Tumbleweed to Aurora, but there is 1 thing that worked perfectly on openSUSE but doesn't on Aurora and i wonder if there is a way to make it work as I need without pain or maybe it could be fixed by contributors. I have single monitor connected to my main pc that runs Aurora and macbook at the same time. When I've used openSUSE I've set brightness via monitor controls to 10% and then on pc i've set it to 40% with desktop controls (fn combo on my keyboard). So I had a setup when i could switch image source via monitor controls between macbook and pc and have proper brightness level that i need (10% for macbook and 40% for pc). I tried to toggle checkbox for DDC/CI in the settings but it seems it takes current brightness saved in monitor and counts it as a 100% and goes from there and it's not what i need.
