SPACE key does not preview files in Nautilus after version 43.20260428

When pressing the SPACE key on Nautilus it doesn't preview the selected file. Before version 43.20260428 it was working correctly.

I think this was related to a mismatch between the gnome-sushi and nautilus versions. I had this problem a few days ago when the gnome-sushi flatpak was at version 50 and nautilus was at version 49.6 (if I recall correctly). After the recent updates, gnome and the sushi flatpak are both at version 50.1 and the space bar preview is now working.

I guess this might be an on-going problem with most gnome components built into the bluefin image and some installed as flatpaks.

Absolutely right!
I had the exact same behavior, but I wasn't able to understand the cause.
Now it's working again.
The file preview may seem like a small issue, but in some workflows of mine is indispensable and I lose a lot of time opening files one by one.
Can we make it future-proof?
