Gnome switching to Resources for system monitor

I've always installed Resources and configure the logo extension and the Ctrl-Shift-Esc shortcut to run that. Main reasons are:

• Battery monitor
• Toggle for virtual devices (hate that mission center shows virtual ethernet from containers)
• Easier on the eye

It seems that Gnome 51 has plans to replace the rusty system monitor with it. I generally don't ask for packages as you can add/remove whatever you like, but in this case are there any plans to align with default Gnome, or will Mission Center continue to be the default?

I don't see a reason to change it? It's a flatpak people can install what they want.

I've grown very accustomed to using Mission Center.

It took a while for me to go from "can you put this on the image?" to getting all the things I want with Brew and Flatpak.

I did give the Resources Flatpak a try. it's a nice, light app.
