Replace for AppIndicator and KStatusNotifier extension for BetterTrayIcons

[DarkGhostHunter]

Just released on GNOME Extensions. The extension basically replaces the old AppIndicator and KStatusNotifierItem Support extension with better control, custom icons, and a lot of other features.

I just tried it and it's just better in terms of configuration. The old extension could be shipped disabled, but both collide.

Yeah, this is great. I love that it let you hide icons.
The only problem I see is that we know Kstatus will be supported in the future and always up to date, because of Ubuntu, so that may be a reason to stick with it.
But I really wish this was the default, it's way better.

In that sense, well, I can understand since the maintainer basically popped this year.
