Installation

Requirements

• A Nintendo 3DS, 3DS XL, 2DS, New 3DS, or New 2DS
• Custom firmware installed (e.g. [Luma3DS]
• [FBI] or another CIA title manager
• MP3 files on your SD card

Step 1 — Download

Grab the latest Tunez3DS.cia from the [Releases page](https://github.com/veylo-3DS/Tunez-3DS/releases).

Step 2 — Copy to SD card

Copy Tunez3DS.cia anywhere on your SD card. A good place is sdmc:/cia/Tunez3DS.cia.

Step 3 — Install with FBI

1. Launch FBI from the home menu
2. Navigate to SD and browse to where you copied the .cia
3. Select Tunez3DS.cia and choose Install CIA
4. Once installed, press B to go back and exit FBI

Step 4 — Add your music

Create a Music folder at the root of your SD card if it doesn't exist already:

sdmc:/Music/

Place your .mp3 files here. Subfolders are supported — you can organize by artist, album, or however you like.

Step 5 — Launch

Tunez3DS will appear on your 3DS home menu. Tap it to launch.

Updating

To update to a newer version, simply download the new .cia from the Releases page and reinstall it over the existing one using FBI. Your music files will not be affected.
