Emoji plugin shows empty categories when scrolling or filtering

Description

It seems there is a problem with the emoji plugin. When scrolling past the basic emojis or filtering by category, no emojis are shown, only an empty state. This issue can be reproduced both on the site and locally.

We plan to rework the emoji plugin based on https://www.npmjs.com/package/frimousse - this issue will be fixed at that point.
