It's pretty self explanatory you can either click the play cards button or, use the mouse wheel.

If you flick the mouse wheel away from you it will play those cards flicking the wheel wheel. towards you will cancel the cards that you have selected.

This is definitely the way you want to play in crazy mode because of the tight time penalty. You'll be scrambling and fumbling around trying to sort/select and play moves in such a tight window.
- Full network play via relay server
