Feature Request: Character count trim from end

Description

Currently when you paste text into editor with the Character count extension enabled, if text exceeds limit it is trimmed from the beginning

Somehow I witnessed unexpected behaviour when editor trimmed text from the beginning. But I can't reproduce it anymore, so it seems it works as intended - trims from end.
Still I think it would be nice to have trim mode option
