SRW dust-smoke

I tried testing out the smoke-dust model via the user guide; however, when I run launch the model, the smoke-dust portion says dead, as seen in the image. I am unsure of the error. Here is the path to my experiment, "/work2/noaa/uswrp-hu/mbenneh/UFS-SD/expt_dirs/smoke_dust_conus3km".

Here is an update. In case I have a separate directory with the same app built in it for a different purpose, will that conflict? Say ../UFS-SD and ../UFS-SRW.

@mkbenneh - These errors are starting to look machine-specific and due to an instability on the platform or related to GitHub. My recommendation would be to retry after an interval (an hour or so).

Hi @mkbenneh - have you been able to resolve the issues you were seeing when cloning externals for the SRW? I tested a fresh checkout on orion this morning and received no errors.

I tried it, and it's fine now. However, I am a little curious about including the smoke/dust component for this build.

Hi @mkbenneh - the smoke/dust component is included as part of the standard build now. The appropriate code changes have been made in the UFS-WM, and the SRW now points to that updated hash.
