@ulsklyc would be amazing to have this feature |

Hi Lukas, Thanks for the kind words, really glad you're enjoying Yuvomi! Good news: this already works today. What you're describing is the main Budget tab, not the Split / Shared expenses tab:
The Split / Shared expenses tab is a separate, Splitwise-style feature meant specifically for splitting costs between people. That is the only place that creates the "who owes whom" balances (which can go negative by design). If that's the tab you were on, switching to the plain Budget tab should give you exactly the simple expense tracking you're after. If you actually meant something different, for example logging solo (non-split) expenses inside a shared group, let me know and I'll take another look. Cheers! |

Hi Lukas, You did everything right, and the good news is nothing is actually broken. What you're seeing isn't a debt or an account going negative, it's just the month's Saldo (net) = income − expenses. You logged one 710 expense and no income this month, so the summary is 0 − 710 = −710, the same minus any budgeting app shows for a month where you only recorded spending. Two different "balances" are in play, which is where my earlier wording was misleading:
The plain expense log you're after is exactly the Transactions list, the Statistics tab and the CSV export, which show your spending with no "who owes whom" logic. The Saldo card is just the monthly overview: enter your income for the month and it reflects your real balance, or simply ignore it if you only track spending. If you'd rather have an "expenses only" view that hides the net (or shows expenses as positive numbers), that's a fair idea, tell me and I'll look at it separately. Cheers! |

Hello Ulas, thank you for your explanation. Yes I'm just looking for an "expenses only" view that hides net 👍 Best Regards, |

Hi Lukas, Quick update: this is live now in v1.45.8. When a month has no income recorded, the monthly Saldo card no longer turns red. It now shows in a neutral colour, so tracking expenses only no longer reads as "you are in the red". The moment you add any income for the month, the card goes back to its normal green/red meaning. Your plain expense log is unchanged: the Transactions list, the Statistics tab and the CSV export show your spending with no net or "who owes whom" logic. One honest note: I de-emphasised the Saldo rather than hiding it outright, so the monthly overview still adds up for anyone who does record income. If you would still prefer it fully hidden, just say the word and I will look at a dedicated "expenses only" toggle. Thanks again for the nudge, and glad you are enjoying Yuvomi! Cheers |

Hey Ulas, you're crazy fast, thank you very much! A dedicated "expenses only" toggle would be really awesome! Regards, |

Hi Lukas, Good news, this is live now in v1.45.9. Open the Budget tab and you'll find a new Expenses only toggle at the top right of the month summary. Turn it on and the summary collapses to a single Expenses card, with the income and the net balance (Saldo) cards hidden entirely. So a month where you only record spending no longer shows any net at all, not even a neutral one. It's remembered per device, and your transaction list, the Statistics tab and the CSV export are all unchanged. Flip it back off any time for the full income / expenses / balance view. Thanks again for the nudge, it's a genuinely nice little addition. Enjoy! Cheers |

Hey,
it would be great to track generally my expenses without requiring a contra entry, or causing the balances to go into the negative.
Can you please implement it? I love your work!
Thank you and Regards
Lukas
