Ability to hide modules per household or per user: |
|
Released in v2.16.0, and both halves of this thread turned out to be real. @HeylelTeomim, you were not missing a setting. Switching a module off for the household existed, but it sat twelve pixels away from the personal ordering control, both unlabelled. It now has its own page: Settings → Modules → Active modules, admin only, because taking a module away from six people has neither a confirmation nor an undo. @Kyrodan, the multi-user case was the actual gap. The module switches on the navigation sheet were gated behind Hiding is tidying, not a withdrawal. A link from a notification, a dashboard widget or the search still opens the page. What someone may not reach stays a matter of permissions, which is a different question and stays where it is. Hidden modules also stop being offered as mobile favourites, and when that displaces one of your three, the confirmation names the position that moved rather than letting you discover it on the phone later. Kitchen can be hidden as a group or one station at a time. Thanks to both of you. The thread read as one question and was two, and answering only the first one would have left the actual problem in place. |

Really liking Yumovio, but there is one thing that nags me.
I was under the impression that I could disable modules that I don't need.
But some things seem "baked-in", such as Kitchen, Housekeeping and Health.
I of course leave them out of the Overview, but they still remain in the left hand menu.
Is there a way to disable these fully - I'd rather not have them around. Optimally, making the following possible would be great:
