Custom recurrence intervals for calendar events

Currently, the calendar and task modules only support fixed recurrence intervals: daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.
This request proposes adding custom recurrence intervals (e.g., "Every X days/weeks/months/years") to accommodate non-standard recurring schedules (such as bi-weekly meetings, events happening every 3 weeks, or shift work every 4 days).

The experience has been great so far. Even my very non-tech-savvy girlfriend is surprised by how smoothly and intuitively everything works, especially for a completely free open-source project (this is the first self-hosted app I've forced her to use that she can navigate on her own, without regularly having to ask me "how did X work again...?").

Looking forward to future improvements—we are definitely here to stay and see them!

I've just found the option to do that is already implemented, but (kind of) hidden for someone who doesn't it works this way. You need to manually activate the daily, weekly, monthly or yearly recurrence, only then you are given the option to change the interval in that the task reoccurs.

Maybe it'd be possible to slightly adjust the interface, so it becomes clearer that the intervals shown in the drop-down-menu are not fixed and preconfigured, but adjustable?
