I would like to pin shopping lists to the dashboard just like on the pinboard

Also on mobile when i want to add something new to the pinboard the windows for for new note does not close. Wether I hit Cancel or new note, I have to close the app entierly

Bug fix: Modal not closing on mobile (v0.7.7)

The pinboard modal was getting stuck on mobile because closeModal() relied on the CSS animationend event to complete cleanup. When that event did not fire (e.g. due to prefers-reduced-motion: reduce, a tab switch, or other browser quirks), the modal stayed open permanently.

Fix: A 300ms fallback timer now guarantees that _doClose() runs even if the animation event never fires.

Feature: Shopping lists on dashboard (v0.8.0)

Shopping lists with open (unchecked) items now appear as a widget on the dashboard.

What it shows:

• Up to 3 lists that have unchecked items
• A progress bar per list (checked / total)
• A preview of the first few open items with quantities
• A "+N more" indicator if there are more items than shown
• Clicking any list navigates to the shopping module

The widget only appears when there are lists with open items - it does not take up space when everything is checked off.

Both changes are live in v0.8.0. Thanks for the report and suggestion!

Thanks for the quick fixes and implementation. I run v.0.8.0 but the lists do not show on the dashboard:

Closing this discussion — both issues have been shipped and the latest release further improves mobile UX.

Summary of what was done:

• v0.7.7 — Fixed the pinboard modal not closing on mobile. The animationend event was silently dropped in some mobile browsers, leaving the modal stuck open. A 300 ms fallback timer now guarantees cleanup regardless of browser quirks.
• v0.8.0 — Shopping lists with open items now appear as a widget on the dashboard: progress bar, item preview, and a click-through to the full shopping module.
• v0.11.0 — Additional mobile UX polish: fixed touch scroll on iOS/Android, better keyboard types on form inputs, and design system consistency improvements.
