Release Notes: X-Ray v26.4.23 — The Localization Update

This release makes X-Ray smarter and more adaptive, ensuring it fits perfectly into your reading flow regardless of your language.

New Features

  • Intelligent Auto-Language Modes: You can now set X-Ray to automatically follow your System Language or even match the Language of the Book you are currently reading.
  • Instant Setup: New users no longer need to configure their language manually; X-Ray now detects and sets the correct language on the very first launch.
  • Persistent Choice: If X-Ray suggests a language switch for a specific book, you can now select "Don't ask again" to save that preference permanently for that book.

Improvements

  • Complete Localization: Every part of the character listing—including Roles, Professions, and Descriptions—is now fully translated.

X-Ray now offers full localization support for:

  • English
  • German (Deutsch)
  • Spanish (Español)
  • French (Français)
  • Russian (Русский)
  • Simplified Chinese (简体中文)
