V17: Unable to cancel folder creation from the media picker #20452

Which Umbraco version are you using?
17 (might be in 15 and 16 too, haven't tested)
Bug summary
The media picker allows for creating new folders. But if you change your mind, it's impossible to abandon the folder creation.

Steps to reproduce
Open a media picker and click the "+" to create a new folder:
Notice that there is no visible means of undoing this action:
Hitting ESC closes the media picker entirely, but the folder is still created:
Expected result / actual result
The ESC key seems like a somewhat reasonable means to cancelling the folder creation.
That being said, an explicit "cancel" UI would probably be preferable.
