CocoScrapers Install and Setup

Use this guide to install CocoScrapers and select it as Umbrella’s external provider.

1. Install the CocoScrapers repository

1. In Kodi, open Settings → System → Add-ons and enable Unknown sources if needed.
2. Open Settings → File manager → Add source.
3. Enter https://cocojoe2411.github.io/ and name the source CocoScrapers.
4. Go to Settings → Add-ons → Install from zip file.
5. Open CocoScrapers and select the repository ZIP listed there.
6. Wait for the repository installation notification.

2. Install CocoScrapers Module

1. Open Install from repository → CocoScrapers Repository.
2. Select Program add-ons → CocoScrapers Module → Install.
3. Allow Kodi to install the required dependencies.

3. Select CocoScrapers in Umbrella

1. Open Umbrella → Settings → Providers.
2. Turn on Enable External Providers.
3. Open External Provider and choose CocoScrapers Module.
4. Save the settings.

The selected module should be script.module.cocoscrapers.

4. Test your setup

Run a fresh movie or episode search in Umbrella. Results depend on provider availability, your filters, and any required account authorization.

Troubleshooting

• CocoScrapers isn’t listed: confirm the module is installed, then restart Kodi.
• External Provider is missing: enable external providers first.
• An older version is offered: check for repository updates and allow time for published changes to become available.
• No results: review CocoScrapers’ enabled providers, Umbrella’s filters, and your account settings. Try another title.
