Slack notifications

I turned on slack notifications:

I configured my Slack App

Also, I have specified channel

But nothing works. The error something like "channel not found" occurs

Also I tried to use channel ID, but still the same error

this looks like a couple of things going on.

1. channel is probably private. the underlying library uses Slack conversations.list API to resolve channel name to ID, and by default it only lists public channels. if d-shnurenko-notifications is a private channel, it won't be found by name

2. G prefix not recognized as channel ID. when you tried using G01K3NBQJCC directly, the code only recognizes C (channel) and U (user) prefixes as IDs. G is Slack's legacy prefix for private channels/groups, so it falls through to name lookup which also fails

the fix: open the channel in Slack, click the channel name at the top to open details, scroll down to find the channel ID. modern Slack gives you a C-prefixed ID even for private channels. use that in your config:

notify_slack_channel = C01XXXXXXXX

also make sure the bot is actually invited to the channel (/invite @YourBotName inside the channel). the bot needs chat:write scope at minimum, and if you want name-based lookup to work, also channels:read + groups:read.

btw, // is not a valid comment syntax in this config format, use # instead. probably doesn't matter in your case as it's on a separate line, but just fyi.

2. my channel has ID G01K3NBQJCC — does not start with C. It's interesting, that all other channels do
