v0.10.11
Added
- Verify Claude setup through the installed integration with a disclosed small billable request, isolated from repository files and tools and labeled as test traffic. Readiness requires a successful response; capture remains explicitly unverified. Recover with retry, sign-in, scope changes, or restoration.
Changed
- Label the managed Claude custom model option Orchestra Flash. Refresh updates unchanged managed labels and preserves user customization; requests still use the existing versioned model ID.
Fixed
-
Recover denied organization access inside Claude setup: sign in again, reload organizations and continue without rerunning the installer. Saved credentials are no longer presented as verified sign-in.
-
Download the npm replacement before removing an installed CLI, preserving it if a just-published tarball is unavailable. Run source fallback dependency installation from its checkout to avoid npm prefix/lockfile resolution errors.
v0.10.10
Added
- Repair existing Claude integrations in place, including missing or corrupted generated plugin manifests, while preserving routing, model choices, user edits, and the original uninstall backup. Status separates configuration from unverified inference and capture.
- Add a DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017-specific compaction window, preserving explicit user settings and restoring owned settings on removal.
- Reconcile native interactive Claude transcripts with
claude-session reconcile --transcript-format native, counting completed responses once across content blocks and resumed snapshots. Conflicting usage, incomplete responses, and mixed-session or subagent evidence fail explicitly. - Inspect gateway-reported limits and features with
orchestra models capabilities [model]. Missing metadata stays unknown, invalid metadata is identified without hiding the model, and existing harness settings remain unchanged.
Fixed
- Scope the DeepSeek context hint to its model selection rather than setting a global window for every unknown model. Refresh migrates unchanged Orchestra-owned settings and preserves explicit user context overrides.
- Keep unknown capture state separate from explicitly disabled capture in session accounting reports.
v0.10.5
Fixed
- Keep bearer-token authentication throughout native Claude gateway initialization, fixing the first-prompt “Not logged in” error without requiring an Anthropic login.
- Existing installations must run
orchestra claude-setup, choose Remove current setup and configure again, and restart Claude after upgrading. Updating the CLI alone does not replace the installed session hook.
v0.10.4
Fixed
- Complete Claude's first-run profile state during Orchestra gateway setup so reconfiguration opens Claude without account onboarding or approval of the inert startup credential. Workspace trust and tool permissions remain unchanged. Removal restores the previous onboarding flag and preserves other profile fields.
v0.10.3
Added
- Add DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 to Claude Code's model picker during gateway setup without changing the default model or built-in choices. Existing custom entries are preserved.
- Existing setups can add the picker entry from the setup menu or with
orchestra claude-setup models, without removing their integration. Removal restores Orchestra-owned picker settings and preserves subsequent user edits.
v0.10.2
Fixed
- Accept Claude Code 2.1.309 for persistent gateway setup instead of requiring 2.1.312. The native mod’s launch/resume and session-header flow was verified with the real 2.1.309 binary against a local synthetic gateway, so compatible Homebrew stable users do not need to switch release channels.
v0.10.1
Fixed
- Recover from outdated Claude Code with installation-aware updates, version rechecks, and a skip option. Homebrew casks use their matching upgrade command.
- Use the selected organization's saved credential, show organization names when available, and offer recovery for authorization failures without stack traces.
- Detect existing Claude setup before onboarding and offer keep, remove, or confirmed reconfiguration.
- Preserve Claude's native model picker instead of mapping every model family to one model. Existing 0.10.0 setups should remove and reconfigure to clear old model overrides.
Changed
- Recommend a personal coding project and a dedicated
claude-codeworkload, with explicit resource creation and capture consent. - Recommend production labeling for everyday coding and persistent setup for future sessions, with a visible removal path.
v0.10.0
Added
- Opt in to persistent Claude Code gateway setup from
orchestra initororchestra claude-setup; normalclaudelaunches and resumes retain session attribution through a native mod. - Inspect setup and session reports from the optional
orchestra startmenu. Remove the default withorchestra claude-setup remove, restoring prior settings while preserving subsequent user edits. - Account for sessions outside GitHub repositories without inventing repository or commit attribution. Persistent setup requires Claude Code 2.1.312 or later and uses saved organization credentials without copying keys into Claude settings.
v0.9.0
Added
- Launch and resume Claude Code through Orchestra with persistent repository, branch, session, and W3C trace attribution.
- Account for session requests through existing customer trace and billing APIs without exported transcripts. Failed calls, missing prices, capture gaps, and unknown attribution remain explicit.
- Link sessions to GitHub pull requests and refresh merge evidence automatically; optionally verify captured request and response payloads in private local files.
Fixed
- Run protected private-term scans before npm publication, matching the existing maintainer release requirements.
- Handle large bundled-package manifests and validate public dependencies against their lockfile identities without applying first-party content rules to upstream examples.
v0.8.2
Added
- The installer checks prerequisites before it changes anything. It needs
macOS or Linux and Node 22.19 or newer with npm; anything missing is listed
in one "Before you install" block with the fix for this machine (Homebrew,
nvm, fnm, Volta, or nodejs.org), and the installer stops with nothing
installed. A person at a terminal with Homebrew is offeredbrew install node
(orbrew upgrade node);--yesand scripts never install Node. orchestra doctorlists prerequisites: Node (version and minimum), npm,
git, the coding agents it can find, local-model support and uv, and a
clipboard tool. They are informational and do not fail the doctor.
Fixed
- On a Node older than 22.19 the CLI says so instead of crashing. npm only
warns about the engines field, so an old Node still got the CLI installed and
every command then failed with a stack trace (node:sqliteneeds Node 22.5).
The CLI now checks the version first and names the update command. - The installer said "Install Node.js 20+"; Orchestra needs Node 22.19.
- After the Codex link opens, the steps say what to do if the chat opens
without the prompt: paste it from the box (it is on the clipboard too).
